The optic also features some of the best In Steiner's glass providing a clear image. The glass is also coated to give a clear dot and sight to target. The red dot has the benefit of being a closed system keeping out rain, dirt and mud from covering the LED and making easier to clear if dirty. The do uses a top loaded battery and has a 6 daylight settings and 2 night vision settings.
