Hooyman saws use a high carbon SK5 steel in a tapered blade design, with an impulse-hardened 4 edge tooth. This improves tooth geometry for unmatched cutting performance and longer cutting life. Megabite™ handsaws provide two locking positions for use in a standard cutting position and a hyperextended position to offer a wide variety of cutting methods.
