5.56x45mm NATO 62Grain M855 Green Tip

Designed for military applications, M855 features a copper-jacketed steel point and lead core. The steel point prevents deformation allowing the round to penetrate deeper before fragmentation or tumbling occurs. M855 is often called "green tip" ammo. The tip of the projectile is marked green to denote a steel "penetrator" in the lead core.
