The Lifepod is weather resistant due in part to the dual compression latches combined with an inner rubber gasket seal to protect the interior from environmental factors. Lifepods are also water resistant with an IP-65 environment rating, airtight, dust proof, and can float in water.

Note:

The built-in locking system requires a 9V Alkaline battery which is not included. The LifePod can be used without a battery as a weather resistant case.
